Hosted Payment Page
Virtual solutions utilize MyGate’s hosted payment webpage. This means that card holders will be directed from the merchants website to MyGate’s secure payment page where they will enter their credit card details in order for the transaction to be completed. The payment information which MyGate requires for the payment page is posted to MyGate via a form POST. This POST can be done in any coding language that supports this method.
MyGate’s Transaction Pipeline Specification
All Virtual solutions use MyGate’s Transaction Pipeline Specification Format for processing authorizations and other message types into MasterCard and Visa authorization and settlement systems. The transaction pipeline provides enough information necessary to build the financial message between the merchant and acquirer’s authorization system. All message types are managed within the Transaction Pipeline Specification.
Benefits of MyGate’s message standard include:

My Virtual Payment Process

Step 1 – Cardholder makes purchase from merchants website.
Step 2 – Merchant creates form post to My Virtual payment page.
Step 3 – MyGate processes the transaction to the merchant Bank.
Step 4 – The merchant bank processes the transaction and returns a successful or declined message.
Step 5 – MyGate returns this result and/or error code with error description back to the Merchant Website address specified in the form POST.
Step 6 – If the functionality is set up (from the MyGate Web Console) MyGate will notify the card holder via email of the transaction details and the merchant via email.

Outsource Security Concerns
Virtual ensures that all aspects of credit card handling and storage are managed in MyGate’s secure environment whilst still giving ultimate flexibility and control of the payment page handling to the merchant. The card data is stored in MyGate’s PCI certified environment ensuring that information is stored and encrypted in a secure manner.
Management of additional transaction types such as refunds / credits, capture and reverse authorizations can all be handled from within MyGate’s Web Console eliminating the need for a merchant to build transaction management from within their systems.
Complete Control of Payment Page
Payment Page Customization
Merchants have the flexibility of choosing predefined payment page templates that can be modified through a built in CSS editor. All aspects of the payment page can be designed according the merchants look and feel requirements. Based on template type, logo’s can be placed on various sections of the payment page.
Optional Custom Fields can be posted through in the form post and displayed on the payment page. The custom fields can be used to provide more information on the payment page such as order detail, item details and shipping address details.
Success / Failure Pages Redirects
The success / failure pages are used to notify a card holder whether the transaction was successful or not. Merchants have the choice of displaying the successful or failure page using MyGate’s hosted pages. Response messages will be displayed on these pages. In the event that the transaction fails, response messages can notify the merchant of the failed reason and what action to

Easily Add on Alternative Payment Options
Reduce integration time and costs by using MyGate’s Payment Options Page. All payment options including credit card and alternative payment types can be displayed on the payment options page giving the customer more choice. The customer can then select the payment option of choice and proceed with payment. Using MyGate’s payment option pages gives merchants the ability to add on additional payment options as you enter new markets without any new integration.
Virtual offers pre built and integrated fraud prevention tools.
3D Secure can be activated to gain access to MasterCard and Visa’s global fraud scheme. Specific Electronic Commerce Indicators (ECI’s) that are high risk can be configured to be blocked from processing.
MyGate’s built in Fraud Tools can be configured through the MyGate Web Console and interact directly with all credit cards processed through Virtual. Blocked and Flagged transactions can be managed and viewed from within the Web Console.
MyGate’s RCCB – Virtual and 1Click – Virtual solutions utilize tokenization ensuring that no card detail is required to be stored by merchant, effectively reducing merchant risk and PCI requirements.
Pre Built Shopping Cart Modules

Recurring Payments – Virtual
Recurring Credit Card Billing (Virtual) allows recurring debits to a credit card in a PCI compliant method. The functionality allows a website to post through a ransaction value to be debited, frequency of debit and for what period in which the credit card is to be debited. RCCB is typically used for subscription based services and provides for fully automated recurring billing. Debits to credit cards can occur weekly, monthly or annually. The initial transaction is initiated by the card holder (push) and subsequent transactions are initiated by MyGate (pull) based on the parameters passed through on the initial transaction. The solution uses MyGate’s hosted payment page.
1Click – Virtual
Simplify the card holders experience when making payments. MyGate’s tokenization solution, 1Click enables card holders to only enter CVV after the initiated transaction. The benefits of using 1Click are far reaching including the reduction of PCI Compliance scope and increased security – as no sensitive data is present in a merchant environment to be stolen, even in the case of a breach.
